Shades of Grey; Thom Browne

“Thom Grey was created to exemplify a more youthful and university inspired sensibility… While my signature design aesthetic will be visible, Thom Grey exudes an autonomous youthful independent streak. In the designs, you will see true American sportswear-inspired pieces, including softer tailored jackets and trousers, less structured outerwear, a good assortment of wool and cotton knits and true American oxford shirts — everything a young guy wants to wear today." - Thom Browne

Thom Browne introduces Thom Grey, a capsule collection.

While there's still some residual conversations about the state of shorts in menswear, one of the champions of the shorter set has delved into a capsule collection. Featuring a younger aesthetic that may be a little lighter in the wallet than the eponymous label, Thom Grey is a cliche prep school dream.
Replete with Thom's signature ankle skimming trouser hims now done with a softer tailoring as well as a cache of leather jackets - that'll set you back a healthy $1,180 at Barneys for the striped version(left) - the collection certainly looks to be one of Thom's stronger endeavors.
